Who is NOW Full Fibre 100 best suited for?
NOW Full Fibre 100 is a great option for households who want a low-cost broadband deal with reasonably fast broadband speeds.
Full Fibre 100 offers average download speeds of 100Mbps at peak times, and average upload speeds of 19Mbps.
This makes the plan suitable for:
- Streaming full 1080p HD and even Ultra HD films and TV shows
- Online gaming, including Xbox, PlayStation, and PC
- Working from home for multiple people
- Video calls and team meetings in HD and UHD
- Two to three people sharing the connection at the same time
NOW Full Fibre 100 is a step up from their cheaper Full Fibre 75 plan, boosting the download speed by 25Mbps for an extra £2 per month. Increasing the bandwidth a little to allow for simultaneous use by more occupants.
For households with four or more people sharing the connection at the same time, it may be worthwhile looking at a slightly faster plan. Either NOW Full Fibre 300, which is priced at £30 per month, or even Sky Full Fibre 150 could be a very good alternative with an extra 50Mbps for just £26 per month.
Overall, NOW Full Fibre 100 is a great entry-level full fibre plan with a budget-friendly price tag of just £25 per month.
What does NOW Full Fibre 100 offer?
NOW Full Fibre 100 offers a full fibre to the home connection on the Openreach FTTP network, which so far passes over 16 million premises, or 50% of UK homes.
The package delivers 100Mbps download speeds on average at peak times, and 19Mbps upload speeds, with unlimited usage. It also includes a home phone line with optional calling plans.
NOW Full Fibre 100 customers will benefit from Sky's Wall-to-Wall WiFi guarantee and the Sky Broadband Hub, as well as options to upgrade to the Sky Max Hub and WiFi boosters.
Package | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|

Full Fibre 100 | 100Mb average | £25 | £5 | 24 months |
Priced at just £25 per month, NOW Full Fibre 100 is a competitively priced plan, with a low upfront fee that will be refunded on a customer's first bill.
It's possible to upgrade the router and access the Sky WiFi Max boosters for an extra £6 per month, while UK anytime calls will add £15.50 per month to the plan.
Monthly prices are currently frozen until April 2026, at which point NOW Broadband terms state that prices may rise, but they don't specify by how much. However, as for 2025 increases, customers will be given notice and the option to leave their contract if they want to reject any increases.
NOW Full Fibre 100 + calls
NOW Full Fibre 100 comes with a digital home phone line and calls can be made on a pay as you go basis.
Standard UK calling charges are 27 pence per minute for landlines and mobiles, plus a 25 pence connection fee for each call.
Customers can also add an inclusive calling plan:
Inclusive calls | Monthly price | |
---|---|---|
Talk Evenings & Weekends | Calls to UK landlines and UK mobiles Monday to Friday evenings, 7pm to 7am, and all weekend | £8 |
Talk Anytime | Calls to UK landlines and UK mobiles at any time | £15.50 |
These call plans only cover calls of up to one hour in duration, so for longer calls customers need to remember to hang up and re-dial.
Sky Talk taken out as a new customer with NOW Broadband is also subject to a minimum term of 24 months, and so the talk plan can't be cancelled early.
NOW Full Fibre 100 + Sky TV
Since becoming 'powered by Sky', NOW Broadband no longer offers discounts for bundling NOW TV Memberships.
However, new customers can take Sky TV at the checkout, although it isn't currently any cheaper than signing up directly.
Sky Ultimate TV costs from £22 per month on its own with current discounts, and that's the same price made available to NOW Broadband customers adding it during the checkout process:
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

Sky Ultimate TV + Full Fibre 150 | 142 | 150Mb average | £39 | Free | 24 months |

Full Fibre 100 + Sky TV | 150 | 100Mb average | £47 | £5 | 24 months |
In contrast, as you can see from the table above, Sky Full Fibre 150 when bundled with Sky TV is reduced in price to just £17 per month, making it cheaper than NOW Full Fibre 100 with Sky TV, whilst also offering faster download speeds.

NOW Full Fibre 100 vs NOW Full Fibre 300
The next step up from NOW Full Fibre 100 is their Full Fibre 300 plan, which offers triple the download speed at 300Mbps, with faster upload speeds of 40Mbps as well.
Package | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|

Full Fibre 100 | 100Mb average | £25 | £5 | 24 months |

Full Fibre 300 | 300Mb average | £30 | Free | 24 months |
While NOW Full Fibre 300 costs £5 more per month than Full Fibre 100, the download and upload speeds are much faster.
There is little other difference between these plans however, with both packages including the same router, home phone line, and access to WiFi upgrades.
Should you upgrade?
NOW Full Fibre 300 costs £5 more per month than Full Fibre 100, yet, it offers three times the download speed and just over twice the upload speed too.
Larger household with more occupants, say where four or more people are going online at the same time, will notice the benefit of the increased bandwidth, as will people download or uploading large files, like download gaming files or uploading photos and videos.
Ultimately, while NOW Full Fibre 100 will be adequate for smaller households, those with more occupants sharing the connection may benefit from the upgrade to Full Fibre 300.
How does NOW Full Fibre 100 compare?
NOW Full Fibre 100 is a competitively priced broadband plan, starting at just £25 per month and having prices frozen for new customers until April 2026.
Most other major providers offer faster speeds at this tier, with Sky, Vodafone, Plusnet, TalkTalk and BT all choosing to sell a 150Mbps plan instead. As such, it's difficult to compare NOW Full Fibre 100 exactly, but we can still look at the prices for similar plans:
Package | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
![]() |
Full Fibre 100 | 100Mb average | £25 | £5 | 24 months |
![]() |
Full Fibre 150 | 150Mb average | £25 | Free | 24 months |

Full Fibre 150 | 150Mb average | £26 | £5 | 24 months |
![]() |
Full Fibre 145 | 145Mb average | £26.99 | Free | 24 months |
NOW Full Fibre 100 is the cheapest option here, with equivalent (albeit slightly faster) plans from Plusnet, TalkTalk and Sky all costing more each month.
Vodafone Full Fibre 150 is priced the same as NOW Full Fibre 100 and customers also get a home phone line and a WiFi 6 router, so that's a deal worth considering.
It's also possible to save even more, with budget provider Onestream offering a 100Mbps plan for just £20 per month, although this lacks a home phone and the router will be more basic.
NOW Broadband customers also benefit from Sky's untarnished customer service record however, which may be worth paying a little extra for.
Overall, NOW Full Fibre 100 is competitively priced, and while there are cheaper options available, some of the benefits offered through parent company Sky are arguably more reassuring.
How fast is NOW Full Fibre 100 broadband?
NOW Full Fibre 100 offers average download speeds of 100Mbps at peak times, and average upload speeds of 19Mbps, over a full fibre to the home connection.
Average download speed | Average upload speed | |
---|---|---|
NOW Full Fibre 75 | 75Mb | 19Mb |
NOW Full Fibre 100 | 100Mb | 19Mb |
NOW Full Fibre 300 | 300Mb | 40Mb |
Average broadband speeds must be received by at least 50% of a provider's customer base between the peak hours of 8pm to 10pm in the evening, so potential customers can be confident of the speeds they'll receive.
As a full fibre to the home connection, speeds should be more stable as the fibre lines come right into a customer's home, in comparison to older fibre to the cabinet technology where the last mile of cabling is the old copper phone cable which is affected by distance.
We've also listed NOW Full Fibre 75 and NOW Full Fibre 300 here to show the other options available from the provider, with Full Fibre 75 costing £2 per month less, and Full Fibre 300 costing £5 per month more.
Minimum guaranteed speeds
NOW Full Fibre 100 customers will be provided with a minimum guaranteed download speed when they sign up.
If speeds drop below this minimum, customers will be given the right to exit their contract penalty free.
When we tested a location with Openreach FTTP availability, we were given the below speed estimates and minimum guaranteed download speed for NOW Full Fibre 100 and Full Fibre 300 broadband:
Estimated download speed | Estimated upload speed | Minimum guaranteed download speed | |
---|---|---|---|
NOW Full Fibre 100 | 100 - 108Mb | 18 - 19Mb | 90Mb |
NOW Full Fibre 300 | 298 - 314Mb | 39 - 47Mb | 200Mb |
Estimated speeds can vary depending upon location, but this provides a good comparison between the minimum speeds likely to be promised for each NOW Broadband package.
You can read more about minimum guaranteed download speeds in this guide.
Router
NOW Full Fibre 100 customers will be provided with the Sky Broadband Hub, which offers dual-band wireless and supports up to WiFi 5.
Released in September 2019, this router is still provided to Sky part-fibre customers, and is equivalent to current routers such as the BT Smart Hub 2, TalkTalk WiFi Hub, and Plusnet Hub Two.
NOW Broadband customers also have the option to upgrade to the Sky's latest router, the Sky Max Hub, which supports WiFi 6 and WPA3 encryption. For NOW Full Fibre 100 customers this costs an extra £6 per month.
Here's how the two router options look side-by-side:
Sky Broadband Hub | Sky Max Hub | |
---|---|---|
WiFi protocol | 5 (802.11ax) | 6 (802.11ac) |
WiFi bands | Dual-band | Dual-band |
2.4GHz | 4x4 | 4x4 |
5GHz | 4x4 | 4x4 |
Antennae | 8 | 8 |
Ethernet LAN | 4 x 1Gb | 4 x 1Gb |
Security | WPA2 | WPA3 |
Mesh | Yes | Yes |
The Sky WiFi Max add-on, which includes the Sky Max Hub, also bundles up to three Plume WiFi Pods to boost wireless coverage around the home, and improves the WiFi guarantee to promise a minimum speed over wireless of 10Mbps in every room.
Upgrading to the Sky Max Hub will most benefit customers with newer devices that also support WiFi 6, including the Sky Stream box, enabling them to connect at faster speeds.
Other specifications between the Sky Broadband Hub and Sky Max Hub are more similar, with both devices hosting 8 internal antennae, as well as four 1Gb Ethernet LAN ports for wired connections.
Verdict: Is NOW Full Fibre 100 any good?
NOW Full Fibre 100 is a great choice for households on a tight budget but who want slightly faster speeds than offered by the cheapest NOW Full Fibre 75 plan.
The plan will support most online activities, including where multiple people are going online at the same time. However, Sky's Full Fibre 150 plan costs just £1 per month more, but delivers 50Mbps faster download speeds.
It's possible to customise NOW Full Fibre 100 with call plans, a router upgrade and whole home WiFi guarantee. Customers can also bundle Sky TV, although discounts with Sky broadband are better.
Overall, NOW Broadband is a good budget choice, and now the plans are powered by Sky, customers don't have to sacrifice customer service or router quality to save money.
