Sky Ultimate TV is the new name for Sky Entertainment & Netflix, also known as Sky TV for Stream, and currently costs from £22 per month.
Ultimate TV includes over 140 live TV channels, including all Sky Entertainment channels, like Sky Atlantic, Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Comedy and Sky Crime, along with Discovery, National Geographic, Comedy Central, U&alibi, and MTV.

Sky Ultimate TV is reasonably affordable at £22 per month for new customers, but for households on a tighter budget, it's also worth considering Sky Essential TV for £15 per month. It includes most of the above, including Sky Atlantic, but drops 42 other premium live channels.
Both Essential TV and Ultimate TV can be taken on a flexible basis however, with both plans available on 24-month and 31-day contract terms.
What does Sky Ultimate TV offer?
Sky Ultimate TV is Sky's main TV package for the new Stream platform and comes with a Sky Stream Puck box.

Sky Ultimate TV includes a subscription to Netflix Standard with Ads bundled into the monthly price, but customers can choose to upgrade the plan to Standard or Premium if they want to and remain within Sky's billing system.
It's also now perhaps one of the cheaper ways to watch Netflix since the streaming giant increased prices in February 2025 and Standard now costing £12.99, while Premium costs £18.99 directly.

Sky Stream Puck box
Sky Ultimate TV comes with one Sky Stream Puck box included, with free setup on the 24-month plan, and a small upfront fee of £20 on the 31-day contract option.
The Stream Puck box is easy to self-install simply by connecting it to your home router, mains power supply, and to the TV set via the HDMI cable included.
Connecting to the router can be done either wirelessly, with the Stream Puck box supporting up to WiFi 6, or via the included Ethernet LAN cable to an available port on the router.
While it's possible to get discounts when bundling Sky broadband with Sky Ultimate TV, it's not a requirement, and so, as long as a home broadband line delivers download speeds of at least 25Mbps, it will support Sky Stream.
The Stream Puck box supports Ultra HD viewing, up to 3840 x 2160 pixels at 50 frames per second. Although, without the Ultra HD pack from Sky, most content will be streamed in 1080p HD as standard.

Customers who want to watch in more than one room can add the Whole Home service for an extra £12 per month, which includes one additional Stream Puck box.
It's possible to add up to three additional Puck boxes, with further boxes having a one-off fee of £39.95.
However, it's also possible to watch subscribed content on the Sky Go app, which is available for iOS, Android, Fire, Windows and Mac devices, as well as the PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles.
So, for anyone with a games console this is an easy way to freely add Sky TV to an extra room, while it's also possible to watch content on smartphones, tablets and computers.

Sky Ultimate TV is best for those who want to watch extra content on live Sky Entertainment channels and access additional on-demand boxsets, including more Sky Originals on channels like Sky Witness, Sky Comedy, Sky Max and Sky Showcase.
For the extra £7 per month, customers gain a broader array of entertainment, comedy and documentary content on premium channels including National Geographic, U&alibi, Comedy Central and MTV.
Certain Sky broadband and TV bundles also allow customers to save further, with discounts up to £6 per month compared to taking these services separately.
However, for households on a budget, the new Sky Essential TV plan may be more attractive, costing just £15 per month but still bundling access to Sky Atlantic shows as well as Netflix and Discovery.
