While Sky Ultimate TV has been slashed for new customers, and discounts on premium packs maintained, standard prices have increased as of April 2025.
The standard price for Sky Ultimate TV rose from £28 per month to £32 per month in April, an increase of 14% on the 24-month contract plans.
Sky Sports also increased from £28 per month to £31 per month, a rise of 11%. While flexible rolling plans have also jumped up to £35 per month for Sky Ultimate TV and £33 per month for the Sky Sports pack.
TNT Sports also increased from £30 to £31 per month, putting it one penny more expensive than subscribing with Discovery+ directly. Although, new customer prices are now discounted much more heavily, to just £20 per month when also taken with Sky Sports, or £28 per month when taken alone.
After remaining one of the cheapest places to get Netflix when prices rose in February 2025, Netflix upgrades have also increased in price on Sky TV.
All new Sky TV customers get Netflix Standard with Ads included at no extra cost, but the price to upgrade to Netflix Standard has risen to £6.49 per month (or £6 per month for new customers), and to Netflix Premium has risen to £13.49 per month (or £11 per month for new customers). Pushing up prices by around £1 for new subscribers.
On the bright side, those on a budget will see the price of the new Sky Essential TV plan, launched in December 2024, remain the same, being kept at £15 per month for access to Netflix, Discovery+, Sky Atlantic, and over 100+ other live TV channels.
