Sky Sports+ will join the Sky Sports Complete pack today, with special offers for new customers on a number of platforms.
Sky launches its new Sky Sports Plus service today, with on-demand live streams and the new Sky Sports+ channel dropping into the existing Sky experience at no extra cost.
Sky Sports+ will be added for customers on Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q, Virgin TV 360, Virgin Stream, and NOW platforms.
For those who don't yet subscribe to Sky Sports, new customers can access a number of special offers, including from Sky, BT and TalkTalk.
Today is the day the newly awaited Sky Sports+ service goes live, with the extra content and new channel being added to existing Sky Sports Complete pack subscriptions.
To benefit, customers need to have an Internet-ready set-top box as well as a full Sky Sports subscription, which includes those viewing from Sky Stream, Sky Glass, Sky Q, Virgin TV 360, Virgin Stream, and the NOW platform.
Those with older Sky HD, Virgin V6 or Virgin TiVo boxes will see the Sky Sports+ channel but won't be able to access any of the live streams except via the Sky Sports app, so upgrading the box is worthwhile.
Sky say the revamped Sky Sports app will also become the ultimate home of sport streaming on mobile devices, and access is included with both Sky TV and Virgin Media TV.
To celebrate the launch of Sky Sports+, Sky as well as BT and TalkTalk are running special offers for new customers who sign up to one of their Sky Sports bundles.
Sky is offering Sky Entertainment & Netflix with the Sky Sports pack (including Sky Sports+) for their lowest every price of £43 per month, for 24 months (subject to annual price rises).
The Sky Sports pack is reduced from £28 per month to just £20 per month, saving customers £8 per month, or £192 over the length of the contract. Customers also save £5 per month on Sky TV, making the total saving a massive £312 over 24 months.
The offer is available for those joining with either Sky Stream or Sky Glass, and can also be bundled with Sky broadband from just £16 per month extra for superfast speeds.
This Sky Sports+ offer from Sky is available for sign ups from 1st August to 21st August 2024, and can be found via this link.
TalkTalk are discounting NOW Sports Memberships when taken with TalkTalk broadband and TalkTalk TV, from £39.99 per month to just £30 per month, including the £5 TalkTalk TV fee. This brings the price of the Sky Sports pack down to just £25 per month.
TalkTalk TV customers also get NOW Boost included for free (worth £6 per month), which means all their Sky Sports content will be viewable in full 1080p HD, and with less ads too.
This deal from TalkTalk can be bundled with any of their broadband plans as long as customers are within an Openreach part-fibre or full fibre enabled area. These special offer prices are available via this link.
Customers looking to join BT broadband and TV can also save money on Sky Sports right now, and will be able to watch Sky Sports+ through the NOW TV app.
BT's Big Sport plus Full Fibre 100 is priced at just £34.99 per month for 3 months, then £75.99, saving customers £120 over the course of the 24-month contract.
Big Sport includes NOW Sports with Sky Sports and Sky Sports+, as well as all four TNT Sports channels, Eurosport 1 & 2, access to Discovery+ Premium, and full fibre broadband with average download speeds of 150Mbps.
One major benefit to BT TV is the flexibility, with customers able to swap their TV pack whenever they want, so customers only need to subscribe to Sky Sports when their favourite games are on.
New customers can also grab a £50 reward voucher at the time of writing, and these special offers are available until 22nd August 2024, and can be found through this link.
While Virgin Media is one of the main places to get the new Sky Sports+ service, they've not yet gone live with any special offers.
The provider is offering Premier Sports free for the month of August however for both new and existing customers, and Virgin Stream customers get 10% credit back on Sky Sports subscriptions paid via their Virgin bill.
