Paramount+ offers 3 months for the price of 1

Paramount+ currently costs £6.99 per month, but new and former subscribers who sign up before 9th July can save 67% for the first 3 months, or get 3 months for the price of 1.

New customers will pay a discounted price of just £2.31 per month for 3 months, and after that they'll pay the regular price of £6.99 per month.

This offer comes as Paramount Global are set to raise prices for the streaming service in the US, a move which is expected to eventually reach the UK service too.

Paramount+ offers

Paramount+, an on-demand streaming service, is currently offering new and former customers a special offer to save them £13.98 over the first 3 months.

Sign up before 9th July 2024 and Paramount+ will cost just £2.31 for the first 3 months, equivalent to getting 3 months for the price of 1.

This Paramount+ offer is available on a monthly rolling contract, which while it will auto-renew can be cancelled by the customer at any time.

Paramount+ includes content from CBS, Showtime and Paramount Pictures, as well as exclusive and original programming, such as the Mayor of Kingstown, Yellowstone, A Gentleman in Moscow, and Yellowjackets.

Some of the CBS content used to be on Sky Atlantic, such as Yellowjackets, but has since been moved to CBS' dedicated streaming service. Although, Sky TV customers who do want to watch Paramount+ programmes can gain access to the streaming app for free when they take the Sky Cinema pack.

As well as all Sky TV boxes, Paramount+ is also now supported on Virgin Media TV 360 and Virgin Stream boxes, and TalkTalk's new Android-powered hub through the Google Play Store. However, it's not yet supported by the BT TV Box Pro.

Price increases & new plans

Following in the footsteps of Netflix, Prime Video, and Disney+, Paramount Global have announced changes to the Paramount+ membership plans in America.

The ad-supported Paramount+ Essential tier will be increasing from $5.99 to $7.99 per month, while the ad-free Paramount+ With Showtime plan will go up from $11.99 to $12.99 per month from 20th August 2024.

So far, Paramount+ in the UK only offers one package tier, but it's likely an ad-supported plan and ad-free premium plan will also be launching in the UK in the coming future. When that happens, it's likely prices will go up to, with the cheaper ad-support plan costing around £4.99 per month, and the ad-free plan costing around £10.50 per month.

Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ all now offer cheaper ad-supported plans, as well as more premium packages with the ability to stream on more devices at once, as well as stream in higher definition 4K Ultra HD.
