Fibrus is offering money off their broadband deals for November, plus a Christmas competition.
Fibrus, an independent full fibre broadband provider with coverage primarily in Northern Ireland, has launched their Black Friday offers for new customers.
New customers who sign up online by 15th December 2024 can get Fibrus broadband from as little as £19.99 per month on an 18-month contract.
Fibrus is also running a special Christmas competition to celebrate their 100,000th customer, offering to fly a family member home to Northern Ireland or Cumbria for Christmas.
For Black Friday 2024, Fibrus have reduced the price of all of their full fibre broadband packages by up to £15 per month.
The provider's entry-level plan, Full Fibre 100, has been reduced to just £19.99 per month for the 18-month minimum term, saving customers £180 over the length of the contract.
The plan offers average download speeds of 106Mbps, and comes with a WiFi 6 enabled Amazon eero 6+ router with free setup.
Other Black Friday offers from Fibrus include their Full Fibre 500 plan reduced to just £24.99 per month, saving customers £10 off the standard price, and their Full Fibre 1000 plan reduced to £34.99 per month, saving customers £15 off the standard price, or £270 over the length of the 18-month contract.
Those interested can sign up online through this link between now and the 15th December 2024.
Fibrus promise no mid-contract price hikes, so these special offer prices will remain the same for the duration of the contract.
Following a similar change by BeFibre earlier this week, Fibrus have also reduced the length of their contracts from 24 months to 18 months.
While that does give customers more flexibility, it also means introductory prices will end sooner, and customers will need to re-contract for a better price with Fibrus again, or consider switching away to a better broadband deal.
In addition to their Black Friday offers coming early, Fibrus are also celebrating connecting their 100,000th customer by launching a special Christmas competition.
Fibrus are calling on families in Northern Ireland and Cumbria to pick a family member they'd like to fly home for Christmas who otherwise wouldn't be able to make it.
One winner will be selected in Northern Ireland, and one in Cumbria, to receive a return flight from overseas back home in time for the festive season.
Eligible applicants can enter the Christmas competition here between 9am today and midnight on 19th November 2024: https://fibrus.com/home-for-christmas/
There are some terms and conditions, for example, only flights up to £2000 are covered, and some PR is required of the winner, including photos, videos, and a media interview.
Applicants don't need to be existing Fibrus broadband customers, but they do need to live within a Fibrus network area in Northern Ireland or Cumbria in England.
Dominic Kearns, CEO of Fibrus, said, "Reaching 100K customers is a huge milestone for us. We began our journey just four years ago, so to be able to say we now have 100K customers on our network is something we're incredibly proud of.
"We've heard firsthand from customers that our network is enabling connections all year round, making it possible for people in rural communities to stay connected to loved ones near and far.
"However, we know nothing beats real life connections with loved ones at Christmas. That's why we want to celebrate by making a Christmas wish come true for one family in Northern Ireland and one family in Cumbria - bringing a loved one home to share a real life cuppa to this festive season."
