Be2300 is a new broadband plan from BeFibre, offering symmetrical speeds of 2300Mbps.
BeFibre have launched a new broadband plan, bringing multi-gigabit speeds to their line-up for the first time.
Be2300 offers symmetrical download and upload speeds of 2300Mb per second, or 2.3Gb per second, and costs from just £25 per month for the first 3 months.
Other special offers from BeFibre include their Be900 plan reduced to just £16 per month for the first 3 months, with money off their Be150 and Be500 plans.
Be2300 is BeFibre's first multi-gigabit broadband package, launched today to select postcodes on their network.
The plan offers symmetrical download and upload speeds, with average speeds at peak times delivering 2300Mb per second, or 2.3Gbps.
Customers get free installation worth £250, as well as a WiFi 6 enabled router, and totally unlimited usage.
The minimum term contract is also flexible, with customers able to choose between 12 and 18-month terms, and a promise of no mid-contract price hikes.
Be2300 becomes one of the fastest broadband packages in the UK, joining other multi-gigabit plans, including Vodafone's 2.2Gbps, Virgin Media's Gig2, LightSpeed, and Brsk.
The similarity between all of these plans is the technology they used: XGS-PON full fibre to the home networking, which is capable of delivering symmetrical speeds up to 10Gbps.
BeFibre sell full fibre to the home broadband connections to homes across the Full Fibre Ltd network.
Full Fibre Ltd tends to focus on small to medium-sized towns that may have otherwise been overlooked by the larger networks and therefore may not have many full fibre options available to them.
Availability then, is dotted around Central England into Northern England, and parts of Essex in the South.
BeFibre say their new Be2300 is only available in select postcode areas, although no further details have been released yet.
We do know that the network behind BeFibre, Full Fibre Ltd, launched a 2.3Gb symmetrical speed service using XGS-PON full fibre in August 2024.
The network said at the time, that the plan was already available across the majority of its 380,000+ footprint, with some older GPON areas being updated soon.
"With FullFibre largely building in areas traditionally served by older infrastructure, the introduction of our 2.3Gb symmetric service offers an exciting new option for both businesses and consumers," said Matt Baker, Head of Wholesale at FullFibre. "This new level of performance is designed to meet the growing demands for high-speed, reliable broadband connectivity, enabling businesses to run critical services more effectively and efficiently."
Full Fibre Ltd are also on track to reach 400,000 premises by the end of this year, so availability for BeFibre broadband is expanding.
Along with faster broadband speeds, BeFibre are also offering money off their other broadband plans.
Be900 is currently on offer for half-price for the first three months, while Be150 and Be500 see their prices cut to £24 per month and £28 per month respectively.
Be900 offers symmetrical download and upload speeds of 900Mbps, and is priced at just £16 per month for the first 3 months, then £32 per month, on both 12 and 18-month contracts.
Be150 costs from just £24 per month, with no mid-contract price rises, while Be500 costs just £28 per month for 18 months, also with no mid-contract price rises or set-up fees.
