The Google Pixel 6 Pro is the flagship model in the Pixel 6 Series and offers a 6.7-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a variable 120Hz refresh rate.

A triple camera array sits in the distinctive black strip on the rear of the device featuring wide and ultrawide lenses alongside a telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom.

The Google Pixel 6 Pro ships with the Google Tensor processor which is Google's first in-house chipset.

There is a triple camera unit on the Google Pixel 6 Pro featuring a 50MP 25mm wide lens, a 48MP 104mm telephoto lens and a 12MP 17mm ultrawide lens. The wide lens features Dual Pixel PDAF, Laser AF and OIS to improve focus and shot stability while the telephoto lens comes with PDAF, OIS and 4x optical zoom.

4K video recording is available on the Google Pixel 6 Pro at 30/60 fps while 1080p recording is supported at 30/60/120/240 fps.

There is a single punch-hole selfie camera on the front of the Google Pixel 6 Pro. This is an 11.1MP ultrawide lens that supports filming in 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 30/60 fps.

Software photography features on the Pixel 6 Pro include Real Tone that helps to improve skin tone across different ethnic groups while Magic Eraser allows unwanted background elements to be digitally removed from pictures.

Display

The Google Pixel 6 Pro brings the largest screen seen on a Google handset to date with a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with 512 pixels per inch.

With a 120Hz refresh rate, the Pixel 6 Pro will refresh up to 120 times per second for a smoother viewing and scrolling experience. This is an improvement on the standard phone in the Pixel 6 range which has a lower refresh rate.

Storage

There are three storage options available with the Google Pixel 6 Pro: 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. These storage choices may not be available in every mobile retailer.

The Google Pixel 6 Pro does not feature a MicroSD card slot, so users will be unable to expand the device's memory. However, cloud storage could be used to supplement the capacity of the handset.

Design

The Google Pixel 6 Pro features a distinctive black camera bar across the rear of the device that breaks up the user's colour choice into a large area below the camera unit and a smaller strip across the top.

Three colour options have been created for the Google Pixel 6 Pro: Cloudy White, Sorta Sunny and Stormy Black.

The Google Pixel 6 Pro has curved edges that allow the device to fit comfortably in the hand. However, a case is likely to be required to ensure it doesn't slip around too much and a case designed for the Google Pixel 6 Pro camera unit would ensure the camera is protected too.
