The Bigger Bundle is Virgin Media's main TV and broadband package, which can be customised with premium packs including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema.
Customers opting for Volt also get an O2 mobile SIM and the WiFi Max guarantee, as well as other mobile benefits.
Overall, the Bigger Bundle is a competitively priced home entertainment plan, likely to include everything a household wants.

Is the Bigger Bundle right for me?
The Bigger Bundle is Virgin Media's main TV and broadband plan, although there are several varieties to choose from, so it actually spans a number of different packages.
The range of Bigger Bundle options can help ensure customers only pay for what they want to watch, and the optional Volt plan includes added benefits.
The Bigger Bundle is best suited to:
- Households who want access to premium entertainment channels, alongside the ability to subscribe to additional apps from Netflix, Disney+ and Paramount+
- Sports fans who'll get Eurosport 1 & 2 included, as well as Sky Sports Mix and Sky Sports News, with the option to also watch Sky Sports in HD and TNT Sports
- Movie lovers who want to add Sky Cinema to their bundle
- Households who want ultrafast broadband from 362Mbps average speeds
For customers who want Sky Sports and Sky Cinema however, they'd be best off upgrading to the Mega Volt bundle, as this combines both plans and saves money overall.
Sports fans who want Sky Sports in 1080p HD are now catered for by the Bigger Bundle + Sports HD package though, which is now in full HD.
The Bigger Bundle from Virgin Media is best suited to households who want the basic premium entertainment channels, with the option of adding Sky Sports or Sky Cinema.
As you move up the package range and add more content and faster broadband speeds, the Mega Volt bundle becomes a more cost-effective way to get everything you want.
Bigger Bundle package options
There are four main choices to make when it comes to the Bigger Bundle from Virgin Media:
- Bigger Bundle: 190+ channels and M350 broadband, this plan covers most household needs for home entertainment at a competitive price
- Bigger Bundle + Movies: 200+ channels including Sky Cinema in HD, and M125 broadband
- Bigger Bundle + Sports: 195+ channels including Sky Sports in HD, and M500 broadband
- Bigger Volt Bundle: Volt can be added to any of the above packages, adding a whole home WiFi guarantee and an O2 mobile SIM
Here is the latest pricing and offers for the first three options:
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bigger bundle | 190 | 362Mb average | £39.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) | ||||||
Bigger bundle + Movies | 201 | 132Mb average | £60.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) | ||||||
Bigger bundle + Sports | 199 | 516Mb average | £69.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) |
As you can see, the basic Bigger Bundle option is the cheapest at just £39.99 per month, and includes M350 broadband with average download speeds of 362Mb per second.
Customers who want both sports and movies will need to look to the Mega Volt bundle, which combines pretty much everything Virgin Media has to offer, with much faster broadband speeds of 1.13Gbps as well.
Bigger Volt Bundle
Each Bigger Bundle option can also be taken with Volt, which includes the WiFi Max guarantee and bundles in an O2 SIM plan with 10GB data and unlimited minutes and texts.
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bigger Volt bundle | 190 | 362Mb average | £44.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts | ||||||
Bigger Volt bundle + Movies | 201 | 264Mb average | £65.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts | ||||||
Bigger Volt bundle + Sports | 199 | 516Mb average | £74.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts |
While Volt used to boost the broadband speed to the next tier, this benefit has currently been removed from TV & broadband Volt bundles, except from Movies, where the broadband speed is doubled to M250.
Other bundles, including the Bigger Volt Bundle and Bigger Volt Bundle + Sports offer the same M350 or M500 broadband plan as the standard versions.
Aside from this small downside, Volt does include added extras such as Virgin Media's WiFi Max guarantee for free - which is worth £8 per month, a 10GB data O2 SIM with unlimited minutes - worth £10 per month, plus double data for all existing O2 household plans, inclusive roaming, and O2 Priority.

Biggest Bundle
The Biggest Bundle is another option from Virgin Media, which sits somewhere between the Bigger Bundle and the top-tier Mega Volt Bundle.
It's mostly suited to those who want a lot of TV but who don't necessary want to be paying for very fast broadband as well.
As you can see from the pricing table below, the Biggest bundle is only slightly less expensive than Mega Volt, and only comes with M125 broadband.
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Biggest bundle | 210 | 132Mb average | £79 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) | ||||||
Mega Volt bundle | 230 | 1.13Gb average | £84.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with Unlimited data, minutes and texts |
The Biggest Bundle includes Sky Sports, but only in SD, while the Mega Volt bundle includes Sky Sports in HD.
Mega Volt also benefits from more channels overall, including the kids pack, as well as an unlimited data O2 mobile SIM, free WiFi guarantee and other Volt benefits.
Considering it's only £5.99 per month more expensive customers should largely skip over the Biggest bundle if they're wanting to combine sports and movies.
While some customers may be tempted by the cheaper out of contract price, which is £54 per month less with the Biggest bundle, they should remember it's possible to negotiate with Virgin at the end of a minimum term for a better price.
Bigger Bundle: what's on offer?
The Bigger Bundle is a straightforward TV and broadband bundle, which offers:
- 190+ TV channels, including Eurosport and the TV 360 box
- Access to a range of on-demand apps including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Paramount+, and Apple TV+
- M350 fibre broadband, with average download speeds of 362Mb per second
Here is the latest pricing for new customers:

M350 Volt broadband and phone costs £37.99 per month right now, which makes the Bigger Bundle exceptional value for money in comparison to taking less services.
Even the broadband-only version of M350 currently costs £27.99 per month, just £12 per month less than this bundle which also includes TV.
Bigger Bundle TV channels
The Bigger Bundle includes over 190 TV channels, some of these are free-to-air from Freeview, but many others are premium pay TV channels, including Sky Max and Discovery.

Sky Sports News HD | Sky Sports Mix HD | Eurosport 1 HD | Eurosport 2 HD |
The kids channels in the Bigger Bundle are the four channels available on Freeview, which include CBBC HD, CBeebies HD, Pop, and Tiny Pop. So customers wanting extra kids content, like Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network will need to upgrade to the kids pack for an extra £5 per month.
Virgin Media also recently signed a deal to bring Pluto TV to its platform, which will add another 100 live channels, including CSI:Crime Scene Investigation, The Drew Barrymore Show, and a range of MTV and Channel 5 spin-off shows.
Overall, while there is plenty of duplication in the channel count to make up 190 with various +1 versions of the same channel, there's also plenty of decent content there too, with access to premium programming through Sky, Discovery, and other platforms.
Bigger Bundle + Movies
Virgin Media's Bigger Bundle + Movies offer everything in the standard Bigger Bundle, plus faster M125 broadband and all 11 Sky Cinema channels in HD.
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bigger bundle + Movies | 201 | 132Mb average | £60.99 | Free | 18 months | |

Bigger Volt bundle + Movies | 201 | 264Mb average | £65.99 | Free | 18 months | |

The Sky Cinema channels included are:
Sky Premiere HD | Sky Animation HD | Sky Hits HD | Sky Greats HD | Sky Family HD |
Sky Action HD | Sky Comedy HD | Sky Thriller HD | Sky Drama HD | Sky Sci-Fi HD |
Sky Select HD |
The only difference between the Sky Cinema pack on Virgin Media and through Sky directly, is Sky have a Premiere +1 channel. Sky also include Paramount+ in their Sky Cinema pack.
Virgin Media have now launched Paramount+ access through the 360 box, after signing a deal in November 2022. They've yet to include it for free with any bundle though.
Bigger Bundle comes with the TV 360 box which also supports on-demand apps like Disney+, Prime Video, and Netflix, so there are plenty of ways for customers to watch films.
Read more on the differences between Sky and Virgin Media.
Bigger Bundle + Sports HD
The Bigger Bundle + Sports option includes everything in the standard Bigger Bundle, plus all Sky Sports channels in HD.
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Bigger bundle + Sports | 199 | 516Mb average | £69.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) | ||||||
Bigger Volt bundle + Sports | 199 | 516Mb average | £74.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts |
Virgin Media are currently offering the Bigger Bundle + Sports HD with M500 broadband.
The Sky Sports channels included are:
Sky Sports Main Event | Sky Sports Premier League | Sky Sports Football | Sky Sports Cricket | Sky Sports Golf |
Sky Sports F1 | Sky Sports NFL | Sky Sports+ | Sky Sports Tennis |
Sky Sports News, Sky Sports Mix, and Sky Sports Racing are all included in the standard Bigger Bundle channel line-up. Sky Sports Tennis is also included since it was launched in January 2024.
At this pricing level, it's worth keeping an eye on the cost of Virgin's top bundle, Mega Volt (was Ultimate Volt), because it can become more cost-effective to upgrade depending on current offers.
Right now, Mega Volt only costs £10 more per month than the Bigger Volt Bundle + Sports HD, but would also include Sky Cinema, Netflix, an unlimited data O2 SIM, and gigabit broadband.
Biggest TV Bundle
The Biggest TV Bundle is a newer addition to Virgin Media's line-up, and has replaced the Bigger Bundle + Sports & Movies option.
However, as mentioned, it doesn't always offer good value for money, with the Mega Volt bundle priced only slightly more.
The Biggest TV Bundle includes:
- 210+ TV channels, and the TV 360 box
- Sky Cinema pack in HD
- Sky Sports pack in SD
- Netflix Standard with Ads
- M125 broadband
Package | TV | Broadband | Monthly price | Upfront price | Contract term | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Biggest bundle | 210 | 132Mb average | £79 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) | ||||||
Mega Volt bundle | 230 | 1.13Gb average | £84.99 | Free | 18 months | |
Offer: No setup fee (was £35) + O2 mobile SIM with Unlimited data, minutes and texts |
It's the penultimate bundle from Virgin Media before moving onto the flagship Mega Volt bundle, and offers a large range of premium TV content, but does fall down in some areas.
For example, the M125 broadband plan only offers average download speeds of 132Mb per second, compared to 1130Mbps with the Mega Volt Bundle. The next bundle up also includes an unlimited O2 SIM and the WiFi Max guarantee.
Overall, most customers will find the jump to Mega Volt to offer much better value for money and improved features as well.
Verdict: Is the Bigger Bundle any good?
Virgin Media's Bigger Bundle will appeal to many households looking for a home entertainment plan with a wide range of premium content that also doesn't break the bank.
The Bigger Bundle's value for money comes to the fore with the standard package option, as this costs just under £40 per month for premium TV and ultrafast M350 broadband.
It's the next step up from Virgin Media's Flex TV service, which offers mainly Freeview channels with the option to add subscriptions to premium packs and apps.
The Bigger Bundle is also now the first, entry-level, plan for TV 360, with the Big Bundle having been replaced by Flex in October 2024.
Overall, the Bigger Bundle is a competitively priced deal covering the wants of most households for entertainment and broadband, while customers who want both sports and movies should look to the Mega Volt Bundle.
